These are different jobs and people mix them up constantly:
- Programming pairs an electronic key, fob, or proximity remote to the vehicle's immobilizer or body control module so it will start and operate the car. This is what we do.
- Key cutting mechanically shapes a blade to match your lock. We do not cut or duplicate keys, and we do not do home, business, or safe locksmithing.
What to expect on site
- We confirm your vehicle is supported before anyone is dispatched.
- The technician connects to the vehicle's diagnostic port and runs the manufacturer's key-learn procedure.
- We test start, lock, unlock, panic, and trunk functions before leaving.
Vehicles we cannot program
Some makes, models, and model years require dealer-only tooling or online authorization we cannot provide at the roadside. Rather than sell you a call that fails, we screen support first. If your vehicle is not supported, we will tell you so on the phone.
