What is emergency roadside assistance?
Emergency roadside assistance is on-site help for a vehicle that cannot be safely driven. McCullers Road Rescue provides 24-hour roadside assistance throughout Chester County, Delaware County, Philadelphia, and Bucks County, plus King of Prussia and parts of Berks and Lancaster counties. We offer 12V jump starts, spare tire installation, vehicle lockout entry and battery replacement. Every job is quoted on the phone before we dispatch.
Roadside Assistance in Chester County & Philadelphia
Mobile roadside assistance — we come to your vehicle.
MR RESCUE is a mobile vehicle rescue service — we do not provide physical towing transport. Instead, we come to you and fix the vehicle where it sits, on the shoulder, in a parking garage, or in your driveway, so in most cases you save time and avoid expensive tow-truck fees entirely. Jump starts, spare-tire installation, lockout entry are handled on scene. Battery replacement is by appointment with a customer-supplied battery.
When you still need a tow truck
If the vehicle cannot be made drivable on scene — a mechanical failure, a crash, or a wheel with no usable spare — it has to be transported by a licensed towing company. We tell you that during intake before anyone is dispatched, so you never pay us for a trip that could not solve your problem.
We deliberately stay narrow so every truck carries the right professional equipment for the job you called about. These are the services we specialize in — and the only ones we accept.
Non-damaging vehicle entry when your keys are locked inside. Some newer or luxury vehicles require confirmation before dispatch. Entry only — we do not make or program keys.
Non-marring tools — no damage to paint, glass, or seals
Comfortable with newer, luxury, and electric vehicles
Newer vehicles, luxury sedans, electric and hybrid models, performance cars, family SUVs, and small business fleets are everyday work for us. We use non-marring tools, portable jump packs that protect sensitive electronics, and torque specifications rather than guesswork — because the vehicle we are working on is usually worth far more than the service call.

What We Don't Do
No towing. MR RESCUE does not provide towing. We are a mobile roadside assistance company: we come to your vehicle and fix the problem on site. We do not tow, winch, recover, or transport vehicles, and we do not service semi trucks, tractor-trailers, buses, RVs, motorhomes, or motorcycles. If your vehicle needs to be moved to a shop, you will need a licensed towing company.
We are a light-duty passenger vehicle specialist. We do not provide towing, winching, or heavy-duty recovery. We do not make, cut, duplicate, or program keys or key fobs, and we do not provide home, safe, or commercial locksmithing. We do not service semi-trucks, tractor-trailers, box trucks, buses, RVs, motorhomes, or motorcycles — including jump starts. If your vehicle is outside what we can safely service, we'll tell you on the call before dispatching.
Where We Respond
McCullers Road Rescue provides 24-hour roadside assistance throughout Chester County, Delaware County, Philadelphia, and Bucks County, plus King of Prussia and parts of Berks and Lancaster counties. Every job is quoted on the phone before we dispatch.
Pay Today, Get Reimbursed if Your Coverage Qualifies
We provide professional invoices and receipts so you can submit a reimbursement request to your roadside assistance provider or auto insurance company after service.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual policy.

You have options when you are stranded. Here is exactly what you get when you call us, and what we do to remove the parts of a roadside call that drivers dread.
Veteran-owned and operated
The owner stands behind the work. Calls are captured by our AI receptionist and submitted for dispatch follow-up, not routed through a national call center that brokers your job to whoever bids lowest.
Professional equipment
Commercial jump packs, torque tools, and non-marring entry tools — not consumer gear improvised on the shoulder.
Call for a quote
You hear the number before anyone is dispatched.
Fast mobile service
We come to you — highway shoulder, parking garage, apartment lot, or driveway. Nothing has to be moved for us to work.
Damage-conscious procedures
Non-marring tools, protected paint and glass, torque-to-spec lug nuts, and correct polarity every time. We work to leave no trace but a working vehicle.
Direct communication
One number, clear AI intake, honest arrival windows, and follow-up if anything changes. No silent queues.
Convenient on-site service
Tire changes and lockout entry happen where your vehicle sits. Battery replacement is by appointment with a customer-supplied battery.
Available 24/7
Overnight, weekends, and holidays. Breakdowns do not keep business hours, so neither do we.

Know Exactly What to Expect
No guessing and no fine print. Here is how a call to MR RESCUE works with our AI receptionist, start to finish.
What happens after you call
Our AI receptionist answers the phone, captures your location, vehicle, service needed, situation notes, quote approval, and callback preference. If you choose text updates, it asks for SMS consent, then submits the request for dispatch follow-up.
What to have ready
Your exact location or a dropped pin, your vehicle year/make/model, what happened, and whether you have a usable spare or a battery already on hand.
How payment works
Payment is collected on scene once the work is complete — never before dispatch. We accept cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, and debit/credit cards. Electronic payments are subject to a processing fee; cash has no added fee. You already know the quoted number before the technician arrives.
Expected arrival windows
Response time depends on your location and current job load — call for a real-time estimate.
Areas we serve
Chester, Delaware, Bucks County and Philadelphia in PA, plus King of Prussia and parts of Berks and Lancaster counties. Every job is quoted on the phone before we dispatch.
Where our service ends
We are a light-duty specialist offering four roadside services. We do not tow or make, cut, duplicate, or program keys or key fobs. If your situation needs a locksmith, repair shop, tow, or heavy-duty equipment, we say so during intake instead of sending a truck.
Professional Roadside Assistance in Southeastern Pennsylvania
McCullers Road Rescue LLC, operating as MR RESCUE, is a veteran-owned mobile roadside assistance company dispatched from Coatesville, Pennsylvania. We come to stranded drivers wherever they are — a highway shoulder on Route 30, a parking garage in Center City Philadelphia, an apartment lot in Upper Darby, or a driveway in West Chester — and we fix the specific problem that is keeping the vehicle from moving. Every job is quoted before a truck rolls.
We are deliberately a specialist rather than a generalist. We do four things: jump starts, spare tire installation, lockout entry, and battery replacement assistance. Because our scope is narrow, our trucks carry the right equipment for every call we accept, and we can tell you during intake whether your situation is something we can genuinely solve or whether you need a tow operator, a locksmith, or a repair shop instead.
No membership is required and no annual fee is charged. Unlike motor club programs that bill you every year whether you break down or not, MR RESCUE charges per service call. You pay for the one time you actually needed help, at a price you heard and agreed to before anyone was dispatched to your location.
Our Roadside Services Explained
12V jump starts
A jump start is the fastest fix for a vehicle that clicks, cranks slowly, or does nothing at all when you turn the key. We arrive with professional-grade portable jump packs instead of running long cables between two vehicles, which means no cords strung across a live traffic lane and far less risk of a voltage spike reaching your vehicle's electronics. Every jump start is quoted on the phone before we dispatch.
The on-site work is usually finished within 10 to 20 minutes of our arrival, and we stay long enough to confirm your vehicle is actually running before we leave. Read more about our jump start service.
Dead battery service and battery replacement
Not every dead battery is fixed by a jump. If your vehicle starts on a jump and then dies again after sitting for a few hours, the battery is no longer holding a charge and a replacement is the real answer. Repeated jump starts within a short period are the clearest signal, along with headlights that dim at idle, slow window motors, and a dashboard warning that appears only on startup.
Battery installation is by appointment when you already have the correct group-size battery on hand. The job includes removing the old battery, cleaning corroded terminals, installing and securing the new unit, and verifying the connection before we leave. You supply the correct replacement battery. Call or text dispatch for a quote and an appointment. See battery replacement details.
Flat tire service and spare tire installation
A flat tire on a Pennsylvania highway shoulder is one of the most dangerous places a driver can be, and it is not a job to attempt with a scissor jack while traffic passes at seventy miles an hour. We come to you, position our vehicle to shield the work area where possible, remove the flat, mount your road-legal spare, and torque the lug nuts to your manufacturer's specification so the wheel is safe to drive on.
We install the spare that came with your vehicle or a road-legal spare you already own — we do not sell, mount, patch, or plug tires. A compact donut spare is a bridge, not a repair: drive it at reduced speed directly to a tire shop. Tire service is typically finished within 20 to 30 minutes of arrival. Learn about roadside tire changes.
Vehicle lockouts (entry only)
If your keys are visible on the driver's seat and the doors are locked, we can almost always get you back in without damage. We use non-marring professional entry tools designed for passenger vehicles, and our standard on every lockout is entry with no harm to the door frame, glass, paint, or weather seal.
We require valid photo identification and proof that you own the vehicle or are authorized to access it, and we verify that on scene before opening any car. To be completely clear: a lockout call is entry only. We do not make, cut, duplicate, or program keys or key fobs. If your key is lost or no longer works, contact an automotive locksmith or dealership. Read about lockout entry.
How Fast Can You Get Here? Honest ETAs, 24 Hours a Day
Response time depends on your exact location, the time of day, and how many jobs are already in progress. Rather than advertising a number we cannot guarantee, we give you a real arrival estimate during call intake before anything is dispatched. If we cannot reach you quickly enough for your situation, we tell you that directly so you can call someone else instead of waiting on a truck that is too far away to help.
Calls are handled 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including overnight, weekends, and every holiday. Dead batteries and flat tires do not keep business hours. If you are in immediate physical danger — stopped in a live traffic lane, involved in a collision, or facing a medical emergency — call 911 first, then call us once you are safe.
The most dangerous part of a breakdown is usually not the mechanical failure — it is standing outside a stopped vehicle near moving traffic. Pennsylvania's Steer Clear law requires approaching drivers to move over or slow down for stopped emergency and service vehicles, but you should never assume every driver will comply. Follow these steps from the moment you realize something is wrong.
Get as far off the travel lane as you safely can. A wide shoulder, an exit ramp, a parking lot, or a side street is always better than stopping in a lane, even if it means driving a short distance on a flat tire.
Turn on your hazard lights immediately, and at night turn on your interior dome light so approaching drivers can see there is a person inside the vehicle.
Stay belted inside the vehicle with the doors locked whenever you are on a highway or a road with fast-moving traffic. Your vehicle is the safest structure available to you until help arrives.
If you must exit, leave through the passenger-side door away from traffic and move behind a guardrail or well up an embankment — never stand in front of, or directly behind, your own vehicle.
Note a mile marker, exit number, cross street, or garage level before you call. Precise location information is the single biggest factor in how fast we reach you.
How Much Does Roadside Assistance Cost?
Every job is quoted on the phone before we dispatch — jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, and battery replacement alike. You are told the exact number for your job during call intake before we dispatch.
MR RESCUE roadside assistance quotes confirmed before dispatch by service
MR RESCUE was founded by Samuel McCullers, a veteran who built this company around the same standard he was held to in service: show up, tell the truth, and finish the job. Our AI receptionist answers the phone so your location, vehicle, service need, quote approval, and callback preference are captured clearly before dispatch follow-up.
That structure is why we can quote you honestly, turn down work we are not equipped for, and give you a real arrival window instead of a script. It is also why we publish our exclusions as prominently as our services. Knowing what we will not do saves you a wasted hour on the shoulder waiting for the wrong provider. Read more about the owner.
Why Drivers Trust MR RESCUE
Choosing a roadside company at 2 a.m. on the shoulder of a highway is a trust decision, not a shopping decision. These are the concrete facts about who we are, how we operate, and what you can verify before you ever give us a credit card or a location.
Veteran-owned and operated
MR RESCUE is owned and run by Samuel McCullers, a veteran who stands behind the work. Call or text dispatch for 24/7 roadside assistance, including holidays. Our AI receptionist (backup line) can also capture your request. Requests are submitted for dispatch follow-up, not brokered through a national call center.
Licensed and insured
McCullers Road Rescue LLC is a registered Pennsylvania limited liability company carrying commercial insurance for roadside work. We show up in a marked service vehicle with professional equipment for every call we accept.

Fast, honest ETAs
Response time depends on your exact location and current job load, so we give you a real arrival estimate during call intake instead of a marketing promise. If we cannot reach you quickly, we say so and you can call someone else.
Locally owned, locally based
We dispatch from Coatesville, PA and work Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, and Bucks counties, plus King of Prussia and parts of Berks and Lancaster. We go to the customer for mobile roadside assistance.
Transparent, quoted-up-front quotes
Every job is quoted on the phone before we dispatch. You hear the number before we roll, and no membership or annual fee is ever required.
No-surprise guarantee
We quote the price before we dispatch and we do not charge for work we cannot complete. If the job turns out to be outside what we can safely do on scene, we tell you directly and point you toward the right provider instead of billing you for a wasted trip.
Payment collected at time of service
Nothing is prepaid and there is no subscription. Payment is collected once the work is finished. If you need to confirm which payment methods we currently accept for your job, ask during call intake and we will tell you before we roll.
Real customer reviews
We ask every customer for an honest review after the job, and we publish them on our reviews page rather than cherry-picking quotes. Read what other drivers in Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, and Bucks counties experienced before you call.
